RSVP Tip – Cross reference your rsvp cards

Number the back of the rsvp cards, in case your guests forget to write their names in.

Your guests lead busy lives too. (Imagine!)

And, sometimes they do get the rsvp card back to you — and fill in their meal preference, but maybe they forgot to fill in their names.  Yikes. (This is a fairly common — unless your entire guest list consists of reference librarians and English teachers.)

You’ve made your guest list — and have it entered into a good spread sheet program. If you have a handwritten list, give each addressee a number.

Now, each name or family name has a number. Pencil in the number on the back of each rsvp card and make sure it goes into the appropriate envelope.

You’ll have fewer RSVP surprises and awkward moments.

Hi Helen-

I have to say I love your invitations! My name is Erika Piquant and I’m the Executive Planner at Eco-Posh Events (Troy, MI). I wrote a small blog article about your wonderful company and wanted to share the link with you. I couldnt find your email on you site, but I would love to have samples of a few of your invitations in my office to present and educate my clients. Again your invitations are beautiful!
