Typesetting Information
Thank you for choosing InviteSite as the printer of your announcements.
If you want suggestions to get inspiration for the wording on your invitation, we offer some examples on our site.
The Information We Need From You
Note: A human typesetter will be working on your order and showing you proofs until it is just how you like it, but your first step is to use our online typesetting tool, which is integrated into the order process. With this tool you will be able to play with fonts and compile the order that gets sent to the typesetter. If you order by telephone an email explaining how to order typesetting will be sent to you.
If the tool is not working for you, or you wish to bypass that step, see below.
1. Text to be put on the invitation and rsvp card including ornament number if you chose to have one. On the rsvp, please remember to include a date you want your guests to reply by. Put this in the body of an e-mail message and please do not type in ALL CAPS.
2. Font name. See typeface choices on our Invitation Wording Design Tool.
3. Return address for the mailing envelope (BACK FLAP) and (FRONT) rsvp envelope.
Send an email to type@invitesite.com with your information and we will make a draft for you to proof and send a pdf file to you via e-mail. Please print out the proof when you receive it and look through it carefully! Make sure all names and addresses are correct and the typesetting is how you like it. PLEASE CHECK AND HAVE SOMEONE ELSE CHECK WITH YOU. This prevents mistakes. Mistakes are expensive!!!
If there are any changes you'd like to have us make, send us an e-mail with the changes,
or make the changes on the fax and send it back to us at 626-793-4608.
*PLEASE NOTE* Due to cost of our labor and the number of orders we receive, we cannot
make revisions more than three times per order, so please proofread all of the text and be
absolutely sure of your font choice.
THE TIMELINE for finishing your order depends upon our working together. We generally can print offset within four business days of your approval of final wording. For letterpress, this time frame is nine business days. Once printed, your order goes to shipping and usually shipping takes one or two days in California, up to six business days to the East coast. We hope you are planning an "assembly party," to make it all quicker and more fun, but please refrain from arranging a day for friends and family to come over to help you assemble the invitations until AFTER you receive the package. We here at Invitesite do everything we can to complete and send out your invitations as soon as possible, however we are not responsible for shipment delays while it is in transit.
