How
to print this invitation
Let
us do it for you. When your invitation kit arrives
already printed, cut to size, and ready to assemble, half
your work is done. Call your helpers. Assembly is fun when
you make it a party. Printing costs extra, of course, but
well worth it for a number of reasons. More
about printing.
Do
it yourself. Our papers are not guaranteed to go
through every desktop printer. The paper for this invitation
is uneven, but most printers can take it. Your printer driver
has to be set to "rough" or "card stock." Hand-feed
your pieces and use a straight-path printer (be sure your
printer has a door in the back so your pieces don't curl
around all the rollers). Our MicroSoft Word templates make
set-up for your typesetting very easy, but because of font
licensing restrictions, we do not send you fonts. If you
dislike all the fonts installed on your own computer, see
what strikes your fancy at MyFonts. Cutting: You
receive response card paper to print four on a sheet, then
you cut twice. The invitation paper comes two on a sheet,
then you cut once.
Recommended Printer Types: Laser
and Inkjet
Types of printers that have presented problems: Dedicated
Photo Inkjets. Color Lasers. We cannot specify
models because the same model that works fine for
one customer may mess up for the next.
Commercial
Printing. If you want InviteSite's beautiful offset
or letterpress services, you're already set with our economical
and convenient options (above). If you have your heart set
on thermography, engraving
and foil stamping, we do not yet offer these methods.
As with do-it-yourself, we are not liable for any damage
done by your printing or copy service.
|
On print-yourself
orders we include an additional 10% of all the papers and envelopes
you are going to print on. NOT 10% of
the wrappers and the liners, just the printable papers. For example,
if you order 100 invitations, we ship you 110 envelopes, etc. Called
a 'printer's overage' - this is for any paper loss due to printing
on a desktop computer. Commercial printers could possibly lose more,
so let us advise you if you plan to take your job to a commercial printer.
It's not a good idea to change the count of your final order because
of the overage!
